Very successful concert
The English composer John Palmer presented three of his works. Passionate and dreamy, Song for You was performed at the piano and accompanied by the double bass. Trio for Bill Evans was a musical meeting for the piano, the flute and the cello, rich in melodic qualities, indeed. The last piece, Poem for the Absurd, was performed by the master John Palmer himself. Technically perfect and impressive, he mastered the instrument, lining up distinctive and unconventional melodies in an interesting way.
